UTZ sustainable agriculture certification
UTZ sustainable agriculture certification scheme for coffee, tea, cocoa and hazelnut works in partnership with certification bodies around the world. UTZ requirements for Certification Bodies (CB) are that the CB must be ISO/IEC 17065 accredited by a Body such as the IOAS (an Accreditation Body full member of ISEAL Alliance).

Sustainable Agriculture Network and Rainforest Alliance  As of 1 January 2017, SAN has taken over all assessment functions, concerning those elements of the SAN requirements that go beyond the core requirements of ISO/IEC 17065 . SAN does not offer ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation services. CBs will be required to seek ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation separately from the SAN authorization and assessment process. CBs seeking SAN authorization will need to be ISO/IEC 17065 accredited from a recognized Accreditation Body (such as IOAS) before applying.

Please contact Maxime Sizaret at sizaret@ioas.org if you are a Certification Body requiring ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation.
